Awww, That Totally Fits
Ok, I’m not even going to try to sugarcoat it. This week has truly been the week from hell. Work is absolutely insane right now and not in that, “woo hoo, we’re doing AWESOME” kind of way.
It seems that the entire week has found me either kissing ass or kicking it, constantly! Maggie has a case of the sniffles which makes her alternately clingy and psychotic. When I haven’t been pulling Liza (the kitten) out of Sophie’s (the chinchilla) cage because Maggie decided to have an impromptu tea party, I’ve been attempting to work with Maggie hanging off of my right arm and whimpering.
At the beginning of the week Liza was sick and was quarantined in the laundry room. Liza is incredibly attached to me (and the rest of the losers in this house) and absolutely flipped out at finding herself quarantined. She cried herself hoarse and literally climbed the walls of the laundry room shredding most of my wrapping paper and curling ribbon.
I did manage to do a tiny bit of Christmas shopping. Tiny bit. Gah! So, it’s really been one of those weeks.

This is what a dork I am - when I hit submit I had this moment of anxiety that someone somewhere was reading my responses and thinking “You’re so odd there is no Christmas song that fits you - try Halloween honey!”
