They can't all be wrong. Coffee isn't the devil for pregnant women anymore either. If the woman have a really heavy addiction to it (to caffeine period), quitting cold turkey would harm the fetus more than if she kept drinking it. My mother was instructed to drink a glass of red wine every night before bed when she was pregnant with me. My Dr. told me to have a glass of red wine every night to help stimulate milk production.
